About Willow
Willow is building the compliance infrastructure for aged care, disability, and healthcare organizations.
Most providers are forced to manage compliance across spreadsheets, shared drives, emails, PDFs, legacy systems, and disconnected software. Evidence lives everywhere. Reporting is duplicated. Audits become stressful projects instead of normal operations. Teams spend more time preparing for compliance than improving care.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Designer who cares deeply about how software feels to use — especially in high-stakes environments like aged care and healthcare compliance. Design at Willow is not cosmetic. It's how we help overwhelmed quality managers understand where they stand, what needs attention, and what to do next.
In this role, you'll work closely with the engineering and product team to design intuitive experiences for care organisations across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. You'll translate complex regulatory frameworks and compliance workflows into clear, usable interfaces that real people rely on.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end product experiences — from discovery and wireframes through to polished, production-ready UI
Work directly with users — quality managers, compliance leads, and care coordinators — to understand how they work and what they need
Translate complex compliance frameworks (ACQS, NDIS, CQC, CMS) into clear, navigable interfaces
Maintain and evolve Willow's design system to ensure consistency across a growing product
Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented with accuracy and care
Help shape product direction through design thinking, user insights, and clear visual communication
Qualifications
4+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B or enterprise SaaS
Strong visual and interaction design skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates clear thinking and high craft
Comfortable working with complex information architecture and data-heavy dashboards
Proficient in Figma and comfortable handing off detailed specs to developers
Curious about how users think and comfortable facilitating user research sessions
Nice to have: experience designing for regulated industries, healthcare, or enterprise compliance tools
What We Offer
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Flexible, remote-first working arrangements based in Australia
Design work that directly impacts how care organisations operate and how safely they can serve patients
A small team where great design is genuinely valued — not just aesthetically, but as a strategic asset
Meaningful ownership over design decisions at an early stage of the company
