About Willow

Willow is building the compliance infrastructure for aged care, disability, and healthcare organizations.

Most providers are forced to manage compliance across spreadsheets, shared drives, emails, PDFs, legacy systems, and disconnected software. Evidence lives everywhere. Reporting is duplicated. Audits become stressful projects instead of normal operations. Teams spend more time preparing for compliance than improving care.

The Role

We're looking for a Healthcare & Compliance Domain Expert to help us build and validate the compliance intelligence at the heart of Willow's platform. This is not a traditional clinical or regulatory affairs role — it sits at the intersection of deep sector knowledge and product development.

You'll work closely with the product, engineering, and AI teams to ensure Willow's understanding of aged care, disability, and healthcare frameworks is accurate, current, and genuinely useful to the organisations that rely on it. You'll review how Willow interprets requirements, test its outputs, and help us expand into new sectors and geographies including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and the US.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate how Willow maps regulatory requirements across frameworks including ACQS, NDIS, CQC, CMS Nursing Home Requirements, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards

Act as the subject matter expert who keeps Willow's compliance content accurate and up to date as regulations evolve

Work with the AI team to review outputs, identify gaps, and improve the accuracy of compliance guidance Willow provides to users

Contribute to onboarding materials, help documentation, and sector-specific guidance that helps users navigate complex requirements

Support customer conversations where deep regulatory knowledge is needed — working alongside the Customer Success team

Help inform the product roadmap by identifying where the most pressing compliance needs exist across different sectors and markets

Qualifications

5+ years working in or alongside aged care, disability, or healthcare compliance — in quality, governance, accreditation, or regulatory roles

Deep familiarity with at least one of: ACQS, NDIS Practice Standards, CQC Fundamental Standards, CMS Nursing Home Requirements, or Joint Commission standards

Strong written communication skills — you can translate regulatory language into clear, plain-English guidance

Comfortable working with technology products and collaborating closely with non-clinical team members

Bonus: exposure to multiple sectors (aged care, disability, hospital) or multiple jurisdictions (AU, NZ, UK, US)

What We Offer

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience

Flexible, remote-first working arrangements based in Australia

A unique opportunity to apply your sector expertise to building technology that improves care at scale

Work with a team that deeply respects the complexity of the regulatory environment you've spent years understanding

Direct influence over how Willow understands and represents compliance requirements across multiple frameworks and geographies
